Description:

Used in the treatment of diarrhea, infectious diarrhea, and diarrhea associated with taking antibiotics.

 

Indications: For Several infections like.

UTI,

respiratory infections;

blood-borne infections like Hemotrophic Mycoplasmosis & wound infections;

tick-borne bacterial diseases like Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ehrlichiosis;

water-borne infections like leptospirosis;

Wolbachia, organism which infects heartworms, in an effort to treat heartworm disease.

Not effective for treating infections caused by a virus or fungus.

 

Dosage: casual dosage is 5 mg/kg of body weight every 12 hours orally.

Treatment depends on the way of treating, response to it & if any development of any adverse effects. Medication used by the vet.

SafeHeart contains Pimobendan as an ingredient. Pimobendan is a non-sympathomimetic, non-glycoside inotropic drug having a vasodilator effect.  Management of signs of mild, moderate, or severe (modified New York Heart Association  = NYHA class IIa, IIIb, IVc) congestive heart failure, Management of Arterioventricular Valvular Insufficiency (AVVI), Treatment and management of Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs.

Indications

Dogs: Convenia is indicated for the treatment of skin infections (secondary superficial pyoderma, abscesses, and wounds) in dogs caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus intermedius and Streptococcus canis (Group G).³

Cats: Convenia is indicated for the treatment of skin infections (wounds and abscesses) in cats caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida.
